Our History
In 1976, Romelia McQueen Adams and Diann C. Holt merged their litigation experience and, along with their court reporting training, both stenotype and voice writing, founded the Adams & Holt, inc. court reporting agency. Since that time, the company, through hard work and knowledge of the different needs of attorneys and legal professionals, has grown to one of the largest reporting agencies in North and South Carolina, with more “staff reporters” than most other agencies and also, when necessary, “floaters” (reporters who work for several court reporting agencies, not on staff with just one agency).
We have offices in Charlotte, Raleigh, Hickory, Boone, Winston-Salem/Greensboro and Asheville, North Carolina. In addition, we have affiliated reporters working with us throughout the United States.
